Baldur's Gate (along with the Tales of the
Sword Coast and Baldur's Gate II: The Shadows of Amn) is a wonderful fantasy
series. It is based on AD&D rules and is even set in the Forgotten
Realms. I have only played the original an the TotSC patch. I hope
to get the sequel soon. |
The game is huge. It has 5 CD's
filled with a vast world of monsters and adventures. I did not find the
violence or language bad either. The violence is obviously fake.
This game is made by Black Isle which is a
division of Interplay. They have an expanding series of RPG's like Icewind
Dale, Neverwinter Nights and Planescape: Torment.

QUEST
for Glory V: Dragon Fire
I
found this game on clearance at Wal-Mart one day. It is a great
game. It has a lot of humour to it as well. There is a bit of tacky
sexual innuendo, but outside of that it is a pretty safe game. The
official site at Sierra does not mention it anymore. It seems that they
have left the gaming business.

Utopia is a wonderful game. You are the ruler of your
own province. There are 10,000's of players on this game online.
You build, you grow, you destroy and you are destroyed. It is really cool. |

AD&D is the
Mother of all Fantasy Games. I used to play online with Talk-City.
Great DM's and cool players. This is played with the books online in a
chat room. I grew tired of it after a bit. It takes forever, you may
get to open 2 whole doors per quest session. 3 if you are lucky.
Great for the AD&D purist. It is penance for the ADHD crowd. |
Demise is an incredible RPG game. It
is dungeon crawling at its finest. I have
played the demo for years. It was known as Mordor and Infinite Worlds for
a while as well. The free download is immense. I have played it for
years and I still have not grown tired of it! I even have a short
attention span. |

This game is made by the same people who do Utopia. It is similar
to Utopia, but in an apocalyptic earth - kind of like Mad Max meets the Postman
or something. It is not near as much fun as Utopia though. |
I love this game. It is not necessarily a
Fantasy game or a Christian game. But it is a lot of fun. It also
very addictive. You have different teams of worms who blow each other
up. the Ninja rope is the best! |
